Zurich welcomes the
cycling world

The city and canton of Zurich regularly host major and high-profile events such as Weltklasse Zürich or the Street Parade. Urban flair and relaxing nature contribute to the high quality of life just as much as the attractive cultural offerings or the numerous sights. The University of Zurich and the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology ETH have long established Zurich's reputation as an academic beacon. Local and international companies offer attractive jobs and make the city and canton the economic powerhouse of Switzerland.

For a global sporting event such as the 2024 UCI Road and Para-cycling Road World Championships, the available know-how, excellent infrastructure and outstanding international connections will play a decisive role. The Host Region Zurich is looking forward to making (cycling) history once again after 1923, 1929 and 1946 and warmly welcomes the cycling world in September 2024!
