As the name suggests, the «Charity Ride» – on the opening day of the UCI Road and Para-cycling Road World Championships – is not a race, but a ride.  It leads from Zurich to Feldmeilen and back, with the start and finish at Sechseläutenplatz.

Getting ready for the start

REGISTRATION - REGISTRATION CONDITIONS

Can anyone register for the Charity Ride or do I have to fulfil any conditions?

No licence or club membership is required to take part in the Charity Ride.

Is there a minimum age to take part?

The Charity Ride is for riders aged 12 and over. Children under 12 are not authorised to start. Young people between the ages of 12 and 15 receive a 20 % discount.

Until when can I register?

Registration is open until 19 September. Please note, however, that there is a limited number of starting places. We therefore advise you to register early so that you are guaranteed a place.

Which bikes are allowed?

All bikes are eligible for the Charity Ride (road bikes, mountain bikes, trekking bikes, city bikes, e-bikes). Handlebar attachments of any kind (e.g. time trial, triathlon or aero handlebars) are permitted, as are child trailers.

I can't start, what can I do?

Your entry fee will not be refunded if you are unable to take part in the event, even if you cancel with a medical certificate. The organiser recommends that you take out cancellation insurance when you register.

Is late registration possible on site?

Late registrations on site will not be possible. The registration window will be open until 19 September, 23:59.  We recommend that you register as early as possible. This is the only way to guarantee you a place on the Charity Ride.

What is recommended for travelling to the event?

The start ticket includes a ZVV ticket including bike. We strongly recommend travelling by public transport. There will be NO parking spaces available.

START NUMBERS

How do I get my race number and will it be issued on site?

Participants who register by Sunday, September 19, 11:59 PM, will have their start numbers mailed to them. Participants who register from September 9 onwards must pick up their start numbers on September 21 at the starting location between 11:00 AM and 12:30 PM.

Is late registration possible on site?
