REGISTRATION - REGISTRATION CONDITIONS

Can anyone register for the Legends Race or do I have to fulfil any conditions?

Neither a licence nor club membership is required to take part in the Legends Race. First and foremost, the Legends Race is your own duel against the clock.

By registering, you accept the conditions of participation set out in the regulations. Please read the regulations before registering.

Is it possible to take part as a para-cyclist?

Yes, participation as a para-cyclist is possible. The course is 29.9 km long and has 270 metres of elevation gain. You should feel able to complete the race in 90 minutes. If this is not possible, we recommend that you take part in the Charity Ride.

Is there a minimum age to take part?

The minimum age is 16 years.

Until when can I register?

Online registration is open until 20 September. However, please note that there is a limited number of starting places. We therefore advise you to register early so that you are guaranteed a place.

Which bikes are permitted?

Only racing bikes and time trial bikes are permitted for the Legends Race. Handlebar attachments (e.g. time trial, triathlon or aero handlebars) are permitted.

I can't start, what can I do?

Your entry fee will not be refunded if you are unable to take part, even if you cancel with a medical certificate. The organiser recommends that you take out cancellation insurance when you register.

Is late registration possible on site?

Late registrations on site will not be possible. The online registration window is open until Thursday, September 20, 11:59 PM. However, we recommend that you register as early as possible. This is the only way to guarantee you a start in the Legends Race.

ARRIVAL - LUGGAGE & TRANSPORT OF MEDICAL AIDS

What is recommended in terms of travelling?

Travelling by bike or public transport is strongly recommended.
There are very few car parks and cloakrooms at the ice rink in Wetzikon. Specific disabled parking spaces are advertised separately. The distance from Wetzikon to the start in Gossau is approximately 6 km and the route will be signposted.
There are no car parks or cloakrooms available in Gossau.

Is there luggage transport from Gossau to Zurich?

The transport of clothes (small rucksack) as well as wheelchairs and prostheses from Gossau to Zurich will be organised.

When you register, you can indicate whether you will make use of this service. Your information will help us to organise the luggage transport, but is not binding.
